    • 2nd years are presenting today.
    • Tomorrow:

    • when the person before you leaves the production room you may get ready in the hallway
    • Make sure your boards are in the production room before you leave for the day
    • Quiet, self-paced work period. Disruptions will not be tolerated
    • No printing during presentations
    • Check out library books if you are using it in your presentation
    • Portfolio clean-up. It is your responsibility to recycle paper when you are done cutting, and clean up after yourself.

Assignments for the week:

    • Check to make sure you are not missing any projects. If you are, you will need to prioritize you time over the next week.

Housekeeping:

  1. Make PDF’s of project work (in case you don’t have the software home)
  2. Save whatever work you want to take home on a flash drive (remember that your Lightroom catalog and raw photographs are saved locally) see Ms. V if you need a flash drive
  3. Clean workstation & monitor
  4. Remove your work from the walls
  5. Recycle files you do not need. Printed projects and prototypes in good condition may be donated to the classroom as samples, as can manila folders with minimal writing
  6. DO NOT delete project/assignment work off of the server
  7. DO delete all personal files off of desktop/server
  8. Check in books, color wheels and tools with an instructor

Announcements

  • Recognition tickets….if you need additional tickets, please see Ms. Robert in CTE main office
  • Reminder: Portfolio presentations today! Make sure you are well rested and well fed, that you are on time and dressed appropriately.
  • Presentation order: Alayna, Brian, Mayla, Tyler, Apollo, Matt.
  • No printing during presentation period. Remember this is an exam period. Quiet work is expected from all students.
  • Equipment return: Brian-flash, Tyler-flash

EOY Housekeeping/Procedures

  1. Laptops will be collected EOD Monday June 12th. Please see Ms. Vaida if you need a flash drive.
  2. Workstations must be left in the condition that they were when you came. Please organize, recycle, take home work.
  3. Server: Update your personal server folder with all project work from this year (make sure it is in GD2 folder). Delete any personal work or Design Studio work that is in your personal folder on the server. DO NOT touch the jobshop folder files (unless it is the clean up a job you have not yet been assessed on)
